The Top 30 Most Popular WordPress Plugins [Infographic]

Obviously we love WordPress here at WPMaintain and we a big reason for that is because of the amazing plugins that are available for website owners to use. There is a massive choice of free plugins (over 22,000!) as well as incredible premium paid-for plugins out there on the market which will enhance your WordPress website.

We like to think of plugins as the equivalent of apps for your smartphone – they make the experience much better for everyone involved.

With so many plugins to choose from, though, how do you narrow down the best ones for your site? It’s also advisable not to overload your WordPress website with too many plugins as that could slow your site down and cause other problems like theme/plugin conflicts.

We found this infographic over at Visual.ly showing the 30 most popular free WordPress plugins – check it out!

Thanks for sharing. All are very useful plugins.
You can also include one more amazing free WP plugin called Avartan Slider Lite. It helps to create stunning image sliders and video sliders in your WordPress website. It comes with 15+ default templates, background video support, drag and drop builder, and lots more fabulous features.

  1. eShop is not free. It has paid plugins, some
of which would be considered essential by many online retailers. A
limiting factor in all of these plugins is the inability to bulk upload
    without paying for a plugin.
